I mailed out the yarn yesterday! I hope I sent you something that was inspiring in some way, shape or form. Do you want to keep the deadline open? I guess we at least have to make it for after Patti gets back from Florida (lucky duck!).

not to be evil or anything, but if we set a date close to mom's return, we all get an unfair advantage over the retiree!
There's something to be said for that--I mean, she can just sit at home all day and create, whereas our jobs get in the way of our knitting.
I got yarn!!! I will be planning my project while traveling and be ready to execute it upon return.

got my yarn today!!! thank you, erica. i'm not sure how into this challenge i am. i am the slowest knitter on the planet. it usually take me a year to finish anything. i think i have too many other hobbies that occupy my time but i will try. we have until the beginning of february right?? of next year :)
