Geckos!!

This was a fun little project I did before I left for Boston last week! Who doesn't love pajama pants?

Oliver did love them but he loved my cell phone better. I made a quick trip to JoAnn's and bought some dinosaur fabric and some fire engine fabric but sadly, they were out of cell phones.

The only complication was the elastic waist band. I had to shorten the elastic twice. Who knew a toddler's waist was so small?

Patti, did you do these? They are TOOOOOO cute! I've been thinking about making some pants for Zack--what pattern did you use?

Oliver looks like he's got the same shape as Zack--tall and lean.

Opps! Yes, that was me.

The pattern was Simplicity 4434. It was supper fast, no side seam, just a crotch seam and an inner leg seam. What size is Zach wearing? I made the 18 mth and it fit Oliver quite well. That is the size he is currently wearing.

I've kinda gotta figure out what size he is because it's getting harder to pull up the stuff he's been wearing all summer. I think he's in the 9-12 month range now.

Those are ADORABLE! I love the fact that the print is so big on him -- it makes them look very trendy indeed.

How would that work with no side seam? I can't wrap my head around it.

And don't think I won't be looking for cell phone fabric now. I'm sure it exists. John Deere Tractor fabric is very popular down here -- perhaps zack or oliver would like to embrace his inner redneck?

I'm sure there's cell phone fabric on that one wall at G Street.
