summah? it's almost wintah!

here are some projects i've been working on over the past-i'd rather not say how long. this hat was my first done on circular needles, which i still hate them.

this is a scarf knitted with fabric.  the knitting was really quick but the cutting and tying the strips together was the time consuming part.
these are some wall hangings i made for my mom and myself.  so i made 8 altogether 2 of each design.  i had quite the assembly line going.

these were also my first attempt at machine quilting.  i didn't use a template or anything.  i pretty much just closed my eyes and did it.
this extra long skinny scarf is cool because i got the yarn at the east aurora dollar store.  so it's a $2.00 scarf.

The wall hangings turned out great! They were a big project. Love the hat and I will repeat that the scarfs are very cool. What's the next project?

the next project is a crayon bag for brandi's little girl. then a drawstring bag for brnadi's bday. both new things that i haven't made before. we will see.

sorry about the close-up on amy picture. i didn't realize how scary that picture is. please focus on the hat not the face. :0

I think it's cute!

Is scarfs a word? Shouldn't it be scarves?

Wow -- those came out really great! You accomplished a lot between now and when you showed them to us over Oliver's brithday. I can't imagine doing doubles of everything -- that's a labor of love for sure.

And you will be all set for when the snow flies -- though I hope that's no time soon.

Well done!

You've been busy!

I don't like circulars either. Have you tried double pointed needles for the hats? I like them much better!

i finished addie's crayon bag last night. it looks good. i'll post it later.

i haven't used double pointed needles except for finishing this hat. but maybe i will like them better. thanks for the idea, erica.
