The bugs are done

I finished the bugs this morning, so they'll get shipped off this week.
One thing I discovered with this project is that I really like working with linen and how it looks and feels in a quilt. So I took advantage of the G Street sale and coupon and bought 2 more yards to play with. Expect to see more linen in the future!

wow! I really like it! The binding came out great. Prepackaged or did you make that?

i'm upstairs sewing away right now. But I think i cleaned the bathroom earlier with a few too many (different) chemicals. I feel a little drunk, so this sewing adventure could be funky!

Oh, please--prepackaged all the way.

I hear you with the chemmies. We just brought back my Grandma's china cabinet and guess what it smells like? Cigarette smoke. NEVER even crossed my mind. So know between that smell and the Murphy's, vinegar and Febreeze, the dining room just smells fandabulous.

Ugh.

How cute is that! I never thought the bugs could be so wonderful. It makes me itch to sew with linen. What should I make?

A new spring bag? A blanket?

a poofy chair pad for baseball games? A table runner for the deck outside?

good ideas...hmmmm.
Wonder if I can find the linen around here. JoAnn's is the only possibility. Good excuse to go wander around.
