Drum roll, please.......! Can you believe we've posted 100 times? We should celebrate.

Anyhow.. I don't have anything brand new but here is a collage type thing I put together using some things I had already made or had. It's very cheery and spring-like. It will probably stay on the kitchen table until fall, unless I get really tired of it before then. If you look closely you will see parts of a new project behind the bird cage but that's a secret for now.

Next is a wonderful surprise I received in the mail. I love it when Kristen decides to experiment and I am the recipient. It's for my flea market jaunts but I used it yesterday when I walked for my library books and it worked perfectly. Notice the wavy seams, soft linen, and silky lining. I ask you, what's not to love?

I thought you might like to see my new penny rug. I have wanted one for a long time and always thought I'd get around to making one. When I finally realized that it was never going to happen, I splurged and grabbed this one. I almost bought one when I was with Amy in Boston but talked myself out of it. However, I kept obsessing about it and when I saw this one it became a done deal.

That's it for now! Remember to celebrate!

I, for one, never miss an opportunity to celebrate! So congratulations to US on 100 posts!!!

How cool are we?

Now that the congratulations are issued, I do have to say that I think it was a good decision NOT to make that penny rug. That looks like a crapload of work (to use the technical term) best left to others.

And I always LOVE your birdcage tableaus!

I, for one, am going home to have a drink to celebrate. Or perhaps because I've been in meetings all day. At any rate, a drink will be had!

But really, Congrats to us! Woo hoo!

LOVE the bag! I think I'll need to try wavy strips this weekend. And I don't think I've ever seen a penny rug before, but I like! I think it was worth it to pay for, though, rather than make.

New post, new post! There's GOT to be something SOMEONE has worked on. I should have saved the brown flower I crocheted as practice as evidence of a new crafting skill aquired.

Mom, finish up that bag for aunt carol that's giving you hives because you don't have a pattern and let's SEE!

K~Post your birthday loot! Bag has yet to be started...still thinking!

Ooh! I want to see both the hive-inducing bag and the birthday loot!

As for me, I have a shawl to post that I just finished last night but Rob ran away to Portland with the camera. I'll be flying after him tonight, for a long weekend. So I should have something for y'all (I so wish I were Southern so I could really pull that off) next week.

Funny thing.. I have been wanting to knit a shawl for a while now but can't zero in on a pattern.
