Moving on...

Things work out much better when I stick with knitting projects where the gauge doesn't matter.

Case in point: I finished the Hanami shawl last week.
It's hard to get a good photograph of a shawl.
Allow me to be less-than-humble and say that I absolutely love it! I'm definately going to use this yarn (Handmaiden Sea Silk) again, it's just so soft and so nice to knit with. The pattern wasn't dificult, and it really didn't take me that long (I started in mid-July). So nice to have a success following a, well, less than successful project.

I saw it in person, and its just lovely. LOVELY i say! the color is gorgeous and it looks like a really hard pattern, no matter WHAT e says!

It is spectacular!! It does look hard...I'm still plodding along on my shawl but yours makes me want to ditch it and start the hanami. Steady there, Patti! That would be just to radical

So you're a monogamous knitter, Patti? I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I have to get back to the chocolate brown kimono shawl, but I'm a little K2TO YO'd out at the moment. So I'm doing a really cool scarf instead, that's just stockinette.

Of course, that hasn't kept me from needing to rip and restart 3 times.

I get overwhelmed easily....

That's kind of the same excuse I use to start new projects before finishing the old ones. Hmmm....
