What A Wonderful Surprise!

Look what I got in the mail for my birthday. A silk neckroll for my always sore neck. It's filled with the best smelling lavender and has tiny fairies stamped on it. The words say "her fairies followed her wherever she went". Last but not least it is green, and you know how much I love green. Thank You, Erica! I love it.

Just for fun look at this website. Some of the fabric is cool and different.

Also go to one of my favorite knitting sites and look at the book reviews.

I thought the books sounded like fun but I think I'd have to see them to browse thru before purchasing.

Have a great day all! Chuck has already spoiled me with a pork roast dinner he cooked last night and today we are going to see "Dream Girls". Patti

It's so nice when things work out better than you'd anticipated. I have to admit that I thought I was just making a little pillow in a funky shape, only to find out that I made something useful! How cool is that!

Just FYI, you probably shouldn't try to microwave it to make it warm--I'm not sure what the little acrylic beads will do. Had I known I was making a neck pillow, I would have filled it with rice.

I had already decided not to put the pillow in the microwave as I wasn't sure the silk would do well~but just sitting it on my neck and smelling the lavender as I knit will transport me to to total relaxation.

I received two more spectacular gifts today from my "peeps" and I will post picyures first thing tomorrow.

What a nice birthday I have had!
