..the rest

Baby Harry's gift is done and will be mailed in the next day or two. The hat pattern is called umbilical cord and was very easy and so much fun to do. I used TLC Cotton Plus yarn from Jo ann's. I really liked working with this yarn. It is 51% cotton and 49% acrylic and just feels nice as you knit.

The Bitty Bootie pattern was from a blog I like. I used wool felt and although not hard, I did struggle a bit due to the diminutive size but they are very cute. Hope everything will fit and that I left a little room for growing. Maybe if we asked nice, Amy would post a picture???

Something new on the blog--on the lefthand side, there's now a section for Links We Like. So instead of remembering where someone posted what website when, we can just add them in a nice little row on the side. I added a few that I've recently become obsessed with. The way that you can add them is to log in as Kristen. There will be a little crossed screwdriver and wrench in the Links We Like section that you can click on. You'll get a dialog box to add the URL and the name of the site and VOILA! it'll be added.

Love the new links! That's going to save me a lot of heartache as I try to remember where I saw what.

While we're -Erica's-at it we could change the name...

P.S. Don't you LOVE the Yarn Harlot?

P.S.S. How do I become a contributor to thr blog?

oh my goodness those are so cute. I love the bittie booties (mostly for the name). Very cool!

There's a lot about the blog I don't know. Mom, I think to be listed to have to have an account? E, thoughts on that?

Love the new links list!

I think to be a contributor, you have to be invited to join--like you did with me, K. As K is in Grant Land, I'll go do that now. And I'll try to change the name---Rock Paper Scissors?

And yes, I love the Yarn Harlot! Her recent renovations are pretty amazing.

I just invited Patti, so now you'll have to do whatever the email tells you to. Amy, I seem to be absolutely incapable of keeping your email address, so when I get it, I can invite you, too.

OK, our URL is now rockspaperscissors.blogspot.com. Note that 'rocks' is plural. I changed our name to that, too. More appropriate, really.

OK, Patti, start working on the banner and I'll start trying to figure out how to add it!

ignore that last post. the web address is

rockspaperscissor.blogspot.com

'rocks' is plural and 'scissor' is singular.

so i can see that i'm invited but now what do i do???

the 2 links that i added are of some expert scrapbookers. sometimes their blogs are full of their own personal stuff (like most) but look around at their other posts and their galleries for the good stuff. they both have very cool artistic styles.
